MEDITATION

Janelle is a skilled meditation instructor with twenty years of experience in mindfulness practices and formal training as a meditation instructor. Janelle believes a relationship to the present moment is a necessity for ultimate health and well-being and that a meditation practice cultivates this relationship. She views meditation as a practice that is beneficial for everyone and has witnessed how mindfulness can enrich relationships, deepen psychotherapy, and alleviate suffering. She offers meditation instruction to individuals, as a part of her psychotherapy practice, in group settings as an four to eight week class and as key element in her work with childbirth education and postpartum care.

She is currently offering a meditation class for mental health care practitioners through the Eastwind Mind-Body Institute as well as a Mindful Birthing Class for expectant parents.
